Soy Sauce & Brown Sugar BBQ Marinade

Ingredients 

  • ½ Cup dry white wine
  • 1 Finely chopped small onion
  • ½ Cup soy sauce
  • ¼ Cup of water
  • 1 Clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • ½ tsp Freshly ground black pepper

 

Method

Step one

Combine all of your ingredients in a jug – this marinade can also be made up to a few days before you need to use it to allow the flavours to fully develop.

 

Step two

Place your fish of choice in a resealable plastic bag (we recommend using mackerel or bream) and pour in enough marinade so it covers the fish. Leave to soak in the flavour for 60 minutes before grilling.
